Been invited a few times to salsa classes by a girl friend of mine. Struggle to find time at the moment but it's something that seems really fun and a good way to meet new people. I love the music too.

They taught us to swing dance in gym class in my western state high school, and that was actually fun. I've been able to swing dance at a few "country" bars and with a few girlfriends, but it doesn't seem all that popular even in the west.

I went to a swing concert once. A woman asked to dance with me there. Made my then-girlfriend mad that I said yes and danced with her.

I do malambo which is a traditional Argentine dance. Pretty good cardio desu, songs are usually long and you're basically kicking the floor rhythmically and doing jumps and shit. You need good ankle mobility too cause some of the moves involve jumping or supporting your bodyweight on the outside of your foot (I twisted my ankle a couple times, it sucks)
As a bonus I get to dress like a cool renegade cowboy.
