It's okay, kind of samey curries are and overwhelming spice levels at times (I had a chettinad with an Indian from undergrad a few weeks ago and he found the spice too overpowering too). The vegetarian comfort dishes like aaloo, rajma, and daal are fine. A biryani I had once was quite good but too spare on the meat and most of the flavour came from a peanut sauce that goes with it. It's nice to change things up occassionally with Indian fare but north-west Euro food will always be King for me (unless the SEA cuisines that I am too familiar with prove to be excellent)

I like it, it beats the shit out of Maggi (the instant noodle thing Indians love). I recall liking their Sticky Chinese Rib flavour too.

I remember there was an urban legend circulating when I was younger which said that some scientists analysed a turd and it had more nutrients than a pot noodle.

I can not even begin to eat indian food because all I can imagine is them washing their hands in it, or stirring whatever ingredients with their poocaked hands.

It's fine. The chosen Juan fajita flavor blows it out of the water tho. Try adding some hot honey to it for a taste sensation.

First poster anon here. I had Indian flatmates at undergrad and they cooked before where I helped them, so I was able to scrutinise everything they were doing, etc. Food was still okay. More a way to break up things up if you're eating euro food, not the be all and end all of things. They also advised me to never try street food if I was, for whatever reason, in India years before the videos of what they do surfaced.

I always end up feeling like shit after eating at a non-westernized Indian food restaurant. I mean one where it's off-the-boat Indians working the place from the top down.

The food's okay, EXTREMELY heavy on aromatic spices which can get a little tiresome quickly. Not a lot of balance to the flavors, just a big roundhouse of coriander and ginger and that's pretty much all you can taste, no matter what they put it on.
