Retards don't understand you're activating your side delts.
Raise the dumbbells up, NOT across. Try it now, laying down, and see
I hate you guys so much

The actual cue is pushing your biceps into your chest, which is correct. Just thinking about putting the dumbbells up takes away from the chest being the primary lifter

I don't think anybody actually benefits from bench itself but its a good benchmark for where you're at

when db is past your shoulder u're fightin it falling across your body and that is horizontal abduction which is side delt to a degree

doesn't matter, if load is beside u and shoulder is protracted u'll get pecs - with low crossover (pictured)

bench is retarded cause pecs are wrapped around ribcage if your shoulders are retracted switching most pec muscle fibers off - that's how u get bitch bench tits cause costal head of pecs have somewhat of a chance to work

yes dumbbell bench-press is the same in that aspect

I started dumbbell and medical ball chest press again, but first time at a commercial gym. My physiotherapist taught me the exercise. You normally just use a medicine ball, but at some point you can't find a heavy enough medicine ball. You press against the ball making it a shoulder exercise with the chest being secondary.

The entire gym was looking at me weird. I looked like a weakling since I was nowhere near my normal chest press weight. Took the ball to the face because I wasn't used to my PT not helping me out. Fuck the haters.

Why no unilateral presses? I feel like thats why back is so much easier mostly but the machines are also better for back imo and you have the cables too.

Heavy prison bench is best for growing cleavage ime, applies to flat back arched incine etc to just hit pecs in the rom and it be heavy enough to get deep fibers. Plus you cant heavy arched bench heavy dbs, for some reason delts they work well.

To get wide pecs just do wide grip and higher bar to nipplesish over sternumish for shoulder safety, have to go light ofc but doing that(flatback wide high) then lower wide arched to go heavy can help get upper chest proportionally in your program. Im lretty sure its all tendons super low with a db but id like to hear your take on how to get a strong as possible chest while keeping it aesthetic.
