you don’t have the advantage of being a worker at a slave labor camp in India making Nike merchandise in a hot sweat inducing environment

A lot of the stubborn weight that won't go away is water retention caused by carbohydrate consumption.
Especially the weight around your waist, belly, your love handles.

These are not "calories" that you can burn like the CICOtards would have you believe.

There is no way around giving up carbs. If you want to be lean and ripped, you have to. Simple as.

A 160lb guy probably has RMR of 1800 calories a day.
1lb fat = 3500 calories.
Meaning he can only lose 15lbs from fasting for 30 days straight.

It could be doable in 2-3 months though if he's eating like half a steak per day for some extreme calorie cutting

this.
i did "clean" keto for 3 months and lost 35lbs without really trying. ate what felt like an insane amount of leafy greens, chicken, eggs, and steak and just kept losing weight. had to stop because i ended up underweight and started getting muscle cramps from electrolyte deficiency.
desu idk how these dudes that do the clean, no processed foods, carnivore/keto keep it up and don't end up full skelly mode.

I've been on carnivore for a month now and lost 4-5lbs of fat and gained some muscle. That's not a 1 month transformation. That's doable in 3-4 months if you go hard on fasting, not 1 month.

carnivore is a low/no carb diet so yes it works, the only issue is that ur cholesterol is going to be super high, I lost weight with it but my bloodwork was pretty fucked cholesterol wise, almost 350 total cholesterol and my LDL was like 200+ with really low HDL, I stopped doing carnivore because I don't wanna have a heart attack by the time i'm 30 lol, im on a normal diet now with carbs and im fine losing weight slower but keeping my health in check

What strikes me is how much people can change from losing just a little. I went from 74 kg to 68 kg and I haven’t noticed any dramatic difference in how I look (I’m 175cm tall).

because going from slightly visible abs to six pack is more visually impressive than going from belly to less belly
