I still have occasional joint pain for other reasons, but glycine supps made most of my pain go away. I used to have wrist tendinitis. It just completely disappeared.

We need to harass everyone until they start taking these supplements.

It has a subtle taste, its not particularly strong and easily covered up with just about anything else, but when you add it straight to water you can taste it. Every brand I've tried has the same taste. I doubt I'm some sort of superhuman here that I can taste it and no one else can.

it's telling how you think two sentences is long winded and are apparently incapable of clicking a link, and looking a few paragraphs above the quote I posted to find the clinical studies referenced
I'm going to be extra charitable and post them for you:
https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/abs/10.1185/030079908X291967

I got a bonus for you too! There's at least one study linked in the very first article I posted that did not find a link between collagen supplementation and reduction in joint pain. Can you find it? I know you're mentally retarded but I believe in you buddy!

The sample size of the first link that you posted was 96 people and operated on self-report, So I didn't even bother looking at the rest of the studies. If you have any actual evidence rather than tiny sample sizes and shoddily conducted, self-reported nonsense, feel free to post them otherwise this conversation is over.

If we're talking about gelatin (which is partially hydrolyzed collagen), the brand I take has no taste at all (I add it to plain water). I've tried three brands and the other two tasted like poison. I assume this is due to quality.

You should take collagen or glycine before exercise if your goal is to improve collagen synthesis in connective tissue. That kind of tissue does not have a high metabolism, so the best way to get nutrients delivered to it is to increase its blood flow.

if not, continue doing bodyweight/light weight squats occasionally to keep blood flowing to the area. If you just stop them entirely you will heal much slower, this anon
