Addictions will happen because of reward pathways that are reinforced to a particular thing- creating the sensation that you cannot be satisfied unless you are doing that thing. Porn is no exception. To break the addiction you need to create other reward pathways in your life, in hobbies, in social connections, in your work, in physical fitness, etc.
Just quitting cold turkey will remove the reward pathway from your life an make you feel miserable all the time. You need to replace that feeling with something else.
