Usually the bulk of your weight is on the lower half of your body, fat people have it the opposite

It's easier to correct your balance as you move if there's less weight. Obese people have also trained themselves into thinking everything about their circumstances and body is outside of their power, so when bad things occur they tend to freeze up and just let it happen.

The same reason sedentary lean people do so, they are weak and have zero spatial awareness and proprioception. The fat ones are burdened with extra mass that just puts those problems into a higher mode of difficulty.

It always fucking gets me lmao.

As a 5'10 240 pound fat fuck I can tell you that combined with being over 30 I'm just insanely weak and that's way more weight to move around than it would have been ten years ago.
I don't know how fat women do anything at all

No demographic group has ever aged as badly as Gen x women

It's like a watermelon on two tendrils. Human feet/calves weren't made to support all this weight.
I fucking love seeing a tubby take a spill, btw. It'll never not be funny.

That's because they all had and got over their first drug addiction by the time they were 24. Jeanine Garofalo has a whole bit on it.

Fatty here, it’s genuinely just the top-heavy + momentum aspects. Harder to fight a fall when you’ve got less leverage and slower movements. Doesn’t happen to me because I’m young and not fully retarded, but I do have to slow my roll when, say, sticking a foot out a ways to stop a passing soccer ball or trying to quickly change direction in a run (teaching kids in a summer camp atm so common occurrences)

It's also less muscle mass as a percentage of weight, thus being less able to execute self-righting movements before the fall is complete.

>t. fairly jacked and not victim weight, recently slipped on a rock walking downhill and successfully self-righted before falling over.
