2 sets of leg extensions
2 sets of leg curls
2 sets of calf-raises

I repeat this twice a week. I'm not trying to get huge legs but just enough to be decent. Is this incomplete without squatting?

id just double up on leg extensions and add leg press. If you dont care, then calves is an easy cut

If you put the pin at the bottom of the stack and can't move it then yeah you will get bigger legs by working up to it. That's all that matters is that you're working up to something you can't do. You can always decide to like squats if you get to that point and want more legs.

you really should squat. its a actually the best muscle builder. the squat activates dormant epigenetic factors that make you produce more HGH and test. you can get away with not squatting if you train all muscle groups very well but imo youre leaving gains on the table

it's actually beautiful how hard u try to talk me into squatting bot :D
or at the very least leg extension and curls (as hard/heavy as possible of course) and beloved calf raises that do fuckall for calves

meanwhile 88,7% of leg is in 2 isometric holds:
ya hang from heels for gastrocnemius - cause that's what it does, bends knee when toes are pointing
https://www.youtube.com/shorts/NfwtDIscQm8
and unilateral quartersquat with internal hip rotation - this is the ONLY VMO growing movement

>nooo squaaaats
this picture is exemplifies what squat grows

I've found isometrics to be effective when they're like heavy as shit and not old people excercise. I'm not gonna say what I did that led me to this information because you'll go the fuck off about it but you've intrigued me with this one. I'm gonna try to hang upside down from a heel hook.

Very much so. With your current program you're half-assedly hitting quads, hamstrings and calves, now look at the list of muscles you're neglecting by not doing squats:
https://exrx.net/WeightExercises/Quadriceps/BBSquat
I'd also add you get some traps from having a heavy ass barbell sitting on them.
Maybe you're doing good mornings, or deadlifts, or heavy barbell rows or something else that will cover some of those muscles, but still, just squat man. You can do low bar, high bar, front, SSB, there are many ways to do a good free weight squat, just pick the one you like best and do that. Squats r good 4 u

I think it would be better to just do 6 failiure sets of squats twice a week

Just to db split squats then. Split squats, not bulgarian split squats. They are comfy, I love them. Just choose a heavy weight, reach failure after 5 clean reps, done. Do this for 3 sets.
>leg extension
It took me one year of heavy lifting as a beginner to almost reach full stack. I have 10 kgs left then it's done. I believe it will take me 2 months tops to full stack it for 10 reps if I pay attention to diet and really take the lift to failure. If you want leg gains, you can't depend on that machine as you'll full stack it in no time. Also, even if let's say you want to improve your leg extension, squats and squat variants will help you much more in progressing the leg extensions than doing the leg extension itself.

The machines are pretty much useless on there own. Calf raises with a barbell is a good exercise. Anyways squats are NOT a legs exercise, they are a full body exercise, and probably the best and most important one at that.

add reverse lunges and good mornings (low bar position, feet shoulder width apart or slightly wider)
I find heel elevated squats more comfortable, so try those if your legs are relatively longer than your torso.
