I did a 6 month backpacking trip around India, had a great time. One of my favourite countries. I can absolutely see why some people hate it, it's dirty as fuck and smells like sewage everywhere you go, and there are big piles of rotting trash on every street, but if you can overlook that it's actually quite a fun and crazy place. Every day is an adventure, you'll always see something crazy going on. Plus the food is delicious and incredibly cheap.

India is a great place to visit if you're an adventurous type. Not the right place for stuck-up cunts who just want a lazy beach holiday.
