I use it every gym sesh to help strengthen my hips so I have less pain in my back and ankles from imbalances caused by running and training calves a lot.

Adductor and abductor strength is usually the missing link causing lower back, hip and knee pain.
Because those muscles are tight, they pull on the hip muscles that help stabilize it and either shift your hips out of position or the tightness in said muscles pull your knees causing grinding in it.

Basically if you train your adductors and abductors you are less likely to have knee and lower back pain.

muh symmetry. I am on the abductor a lot and this seems to help out even me out. I am prioritizing mobility more and I couldn't personally justify it for hypertrophy. I do both the abductor variants, the one for the butt and the one for the glute medius and glue minor.

There's nothing wrong with men using it, necessarily. But imo, big adductors make your legs look too thick and unaesthetic. And even if you want them to be somewhat developed, they already get hit enough by any squat-pattern movement for that.
Adductor machine is only necessary if you really want them to be huge, which again, I think is a bad idea if you're a man.

Yes, the hip adductors are incredibly hard to train without this particular piece of equipment. Your legs will look quite strange if these muscles are small but all other muscles are big
