I will post a contrary unpopular opinion: if you only do slow controlled lifts but don't do plyometrics or something else that maximally stresses your connective tissue, you are going to tear your connective tissue doing something relatively innocuous

Actual unpopular opinion:
/fit/ is good specifically because of all the shitposting. Health and fitness are just simple enough - and good-enough resources for them accessible enough - that there just isn't all that much productive stuff to say about them.

There's no more than 100 posts worth of information that's worth knowing, tops. People who've read them all once think they need to leave /fit/ because there's nothing else here for them. People who've read them all ten times keep coming back to shitpost because it's funny.

Seems like the whole board is against sluts but I genuinely believe sluts boost testosterone and make you compete more and have more sex for longer.

I'm old now (35). I thought I had low test / some sort of dick disorder cause my former wife (divorced now) didn't get it up for me everytime. All of the rejected advances, moralfagging, being a white night who believed in only giving my gaze and heart to my wife, and not understanding what type of sex I wanted essentially castrated me. After that night where I got my mojo back. I ended up deciding I wanted to have GFs and talked to my wife about a divorce. Lifting WILL cure your depression if you let it. If you embrace the pain. If you see results. If you actually put in the effort needed to get endorphins pumping.

I think I've read book of pook a few years ago and I think the things you learn there are just stuff I already know and it seems kinda outdated for today's game when 90% of girls for unrealistic ego when it comes to men due to social media exposure.
