>>76380414I would probably be a bigger advocate if they didn't try to pretend it's healthy for you. It really isn't, its basically crack-lite for soft drinks, or nicotine patches for smokers. It shouldn't be the long term solution, and gets just as addicting. I think at my peak I was drinking 3 a day just to keep the sugar cravings off me, which definitely isn't right. Went cold turkey for I think about 3 weeks and the cravings went away completely.
If you really need it, a better substitute is protein water. Depending on the brand, you mix the powder with water and creatine, and you have that instead of a protein shake. I do prefer my milky-wheys, but protein water is a valid option, at least in the short term
