>>76380706 (OP)i assume you're talking about being "fearless" which doesn't exist, unless you're so braindamaged that you can't perceive consequences anymore. every fighter is afraid, even the world champions, they just learned to push through it and fight anyways, but they're still afraid. hence why they adopt alter egos, get heavy into sports psychology, get hypnotized and dabble into unironic mysticism sometimes. there are clips of mike tyson crying ahead of fights.
just look up cus d'amato and teddy atlas takes on this i guess. and realise you probably just need confidence in general. its not about "turning off your brain" or "just get more exposed bro", because even hard sparring is not the same as a fight, plenty of fighters revolve their training around hard sparring. its about stakes and consequences and going through with something against human instincts.
the only exception to the rule i have heard about is muay thai fighters who started from age 5, and racked up 200-300+ fights, but there is no proof of this, perhaps severely traumatized ones.
when it comes to KOTS, many of these guys are coked up or methed up hooligans, and they still know there are nurses around there anyway. theres still a ref. anderson silva was once busted for using an anxiolytic or something. i guess you can meditate on death and get into a state of mind where you don't care about dying, thus aren't afraid of any consequences.
