That doesn't make sense because if he's a manlet then he should look a lot bigger with his gains. If he's a manlet and he looks like that after 5 years of consistent lifting, he should honestly rope.

What's mostly wrong? Doing a brosplit routine or getting stronger rathan than focusing on hypertrophy? I'm personally considering doing a brosplit now but with hypertrophy rep ranges (10-12 reps)

All I can say is that I got my best results from working out body parts 4-5x a week rather than only 2x a week with heavy weights. I just focused on volume and form with lower weights.

The natty limit is higher but his physique looks better than 99% of the planet and his lifts probably put him in the top 5% of lifters too. Anyone who thinks that is a bad physique are delusional permanently online people who need to stop looking at roided influencers all day.

I go to the gym 5-6 times a week and do some bodyparts 4-5x yes. I only try to max once a week, but I mostly do 30-40% of my max with high volume to avoid injuries and overtraining.

If you don't believe me the science supports it.
Zaroni et al. (2018) – Higher frequency vs. lower frequency in trained individuals
Ochi et al. (2018) – 3x/week vs. 6x/week training
Schoenfeld et al. (2016)

Yeah, I think that high intensity with less frequency can work, especially if you're enhanced, and advanced like pro bodybuilders but for average people higher frequency is better.

I did did a mixture of screwing around randomly, athleanx programs. Then I did PPL for like 8 months and now I'm doing arnold split. I did a lot of strength stuff like you say - low reps. I'm doing 8-12 for basically everything now apart from bench and OHP which I enjoy more with more weight and lower reps.

umh I dunno probably because:
no hypertrophy range of reps
poor exercise selection
no iso

Intensity doesn't mean

nope. guy is weak as fuck and probably 170-180lbs at ~13% bodyfat ie small. You can be alot bigger natty and more defined. He's probably 6' so he could naturally be 220lbs at the same or less bodyfat.
You could reach his level in about a year of training, its not hard. Just go to the gym 3-4 days a week and progress, eat in a slightly surplus (if you start out skinny). Then stop all progress and dont eat and maintain. Its decent, but its not elite/advanced natural physique, but probably the physique women prefer.
>natty limit, kgs since euro poors
absolutely not. Nowhere close. just weak af and lean at a body weight below his potential.
If he was near his limit he could be benching 150kgs for reps and 90kgs ohp for reps with an additional 20kgs of lean muscle, but that requires work and dedication, and that guy in the pic just tapped out at the intermediate level and has just maintained. it looks good, and you probably dont need to get bigger for women, but its nowhere near the natty limit.
Probably ideal as you dont need more time in the gym and you can maintain while doing other more important things like job/dating

I looked like this after lifting for 18 months. Numbers are also shit. I've been lifting for 5 years now and I bench 120kg for reps and OHP 70kg for reps. Shit physique and shit lifts
