> When Iโ€™m on stage, thereโ€™s no compromise, only precision, power, and passion. I take these supplements to stay razor-sharp, night after night. This isnโ€™t hype. Itโ€™s fuel!

Yngwie Malmsteen has launched a line of supplements. As somewhat of a professional guitarist and hobbiest bodybuilder myself, I am curious how these stack up against the competition

what the fuck--...
Why would Malmsteen come out with a preworkout!? The man hasn't worked out a day in his life! And who would buy it from a fat, aging guitarist still living and acting like he's in his prime and glory at 25? He 100% coked up at shows and no preworkout will make you malmsteen of 20+ years ago.

>>76384489
Unregulated market, little to no personal investment/input on the product (Malmsteen has no fucking clue what those supplements are for), high as shit profit on investment as it's a huge upsale over base cost.

From 1983 to 1990, he was the best guitarist on earth. Had some good songs here and there after that but he wasn't the same in the 90s

>>76384672
check out a video on youtube of him playing in Lyon (France) in 1990, clearly on coke

Marty's solo albums are absolute bullshit, my man Yngwie could write a lot of good songs all by his lonesome. Now, he hasn't written anything notable in decades but he had that dawg in him at some point.

The one thing I don't like about Yngwie (and many many virtuosos like Wooten for example) is that they say a looooot of bullshit like "I never practice" and the evergreen "theory is not important". They've poisoned the minds of entire generations with this bullcrap.

I prefer more expressional focus, like say, phrasing and tone shaping compared to blank speed and accuracy, so malm, while impressive with his hands, was never really someone I cared much. Like take gary moore and his riddiculus bends, Id take him over malmy any day on whos better competition.

this. you need to learn it so music becomes intrinsic to you. sadly 90% of guitar players don't even know where the notes are on the neck other than on E strings
