Depends. Do you just want it to help you stay fit or help others get fit?

My wife and I are Physical Therapists and I fucking hate it. I love the field, but hate the retards that plague it. Its sad how people with a doctorate do not integrate barbells or even dumbbells passed 15 lbs into anyone's rehab. My dream is to start my own clinic in a few years.

Would you recommend getting into this field? What is studying most like? Biology? I graduated with a business degree, and am thinking about getting a PT license

Unless you're some privileged faggot who has a trust fund set up for him, you're gonna have to work and deal with the good and the bad. You might as well do something that interests you. I wanted more job security and knowledge than a personal trainer, so I chose to be a Physical Therapist. Become a PT and enjoy it, but be careful of where you work. Make sure they allow autonomy and freedom, but also make sure your methods work.

You might need to do pre-reqs if its been a while, but yeah. The degree doesn't really matter, just kill it on the GRE too.

Is it a bad idea to do it through the military? I know the schooling can be expensive

If your concern is about the quality of education, don't worry. All schools give you the bare minimum knowledge. The real learning is done on the field and with continued education.

The military is not joke think about if it's worth it to be 4/6 years without your family there are other options

I was recommended to do physical therapy to rehab a shoulder injury I sustained at work, as soon as the PTs there realized that I was somewhat strong generally and not their typical 80 yr/old double hip replacement patient, they threw the book at me and let me progress as fast as I could. Told them the lifts I was doing outside of PT and they said to keep doing them as long as they didn't hurt too much.

See that is what I hate. They took no time to go over

>injury prevention
>body mechanics
>rebuilding your lifts
I hope you're doing well now, but this is my point. You can't treat an active young dude like a geriatric. It makes the profession look bad.

My opinion is that the best /fit/ job is something that won't drain your soul out so you are still able to lift and do other stuff while still paying well >>76387135
Might be a good idea if the hours aren't too bad
