I have to use legs like stilts on commercial benches, and its basically arched feet up on that piece of shit. You just have to push your traps into the bench more and create an arched kind of brace from hips up.

Nobody flat backs weight unless you want all delts and some upper chest, well they do but they have never touched their muscles after lifting to see what technique works at least.

Also don't neglect triceps, strong triceps help a lot. In the pass I've had good success with 5x5s for gaining strength.

How is this not touching chest? I have a shoulder injury that makes depth occasionally painful but if I don't touch my chest it's 99% of the way there.

How long have you been lifting? Consistently lifting for 2 years is way different than 6-8 years.

I don't have any groundbreaking advice really. If your biggest goal is to bench 3 plates, focus on chest and triceps and don't push too hard on the rest of your body. If you're going super heavy on legs too it takes longer for your body to recover (unless you roid which is always an option). Make sure you sleep and eat enough. Also alcohol is a huge gains goblin but I'm guilty of drinking too.

Or be honest with yourself and is your "serious" lifting actually structured and consistent, or do you go to the gym 3 times a week but have no program or pattern or way to measure results? I don't know, you do, and be honest with yourself.

I started lifting again in March or so. Couldnt do 225 even once. I started T and Tren Ace. I got 2 reps in at 225 on 17 June. Yesterday, I got 5 in, though struggled on the 5th rep.
