I thought walking would be a good exercise because you can do it literally anywhere but it takes forever to get anywhere and doesn't even burn that many calories

Walking isn't exercise, it's the norm.
Walking for an hour or 2 shouldn't be an achievement you expect a reward for. It's something you should be doing every day because it's what healthy functioning humans do.

Maybe get a job that requires you to stand and move around??I was losing weight at a worrying rate when I was working at a warehouse plus lifting weights,I had to incorporate junk food
