I’m on my third sloppy week of it and I feel like it’s too much on the squats, and doing deadlifts right after is really fucking me because im really still learning form on my deadlift. Arms & upper body definitely feel under utilized, looking for advice on making adjustments

Doesn’t matter what advice you get because you won’t stick with it.

do deadlifts before squats if you need to focus on them and either back off weight or frequency on squats if you're unable to recover. probably what needs to happen is backing off weight since you're so early in the program

If you're adding weight to the bar every workout as the routine suggested, then keep going. Beginner routines are all pretty similar - what matters is the progress. Justs stick to one program and make progress.
SS already has curls and ez bar tricep work in it and that should be enough for maybe 6 months of progress.
Also you don't need to get fat on SS. If you're above 20% fat and want to slim down, then make a 6-8 week mini-cut and get back to bulking later.

I squatted with 25 on the bars on my first day and last time I went I used 1pl8 so I’m def progressing, same deal with the bench. I feel like most of that is coming from correcting my form though, bar was pretty wobbly on both on my first day. Def gonna try putting deadlift first because I feel like that’s where my form needs most attention now, I’m deathly terrified of snap city.

Honestly that's pretty good work. I definitely started slower.
And yeah, a lot of early gains come from form and neural adaptation aka learning how to use your muscles to the fullest. It's totally normal.
If you want to stay away from snap city, then warm up well and don't do crazy jumps in weight. 5lbs or even 2lbs on bench/OHP per workout are valid and good enough. And sometimes you'll have a bad day where you just can't do your 5 reps and need to quit earlier because your form goes south. That's also fine. Just try again next workout.

>terrified of snap city
As you should be. Do some planks warming up before you lift. Really try to flex your core hard to make yourself feel like your pulling your body into a stiff beam. You want to make sure you learn to brace properly for lifts

Sloppy starting strength (never read the book, just remember the forms + a form check from my actual lifting friend 10 years ago) is all I ever do with fitness

If you don't have a time limit, then take it easy on the weights.
Ego lifting will keep you from recovering and gains are made in recovery.
Enjoy the process.
Make sure you can complete your sets.
Lower the weight until you do.
The first six months are going to be explosive no matter what weights you use.

How many years have you been doing this? If you keep adding 5lbs to the bar every time you squat that should be +780lbs a year.
Also are you not yet sick of drinking that much milk?

I had two squat days and one deadlift day (not doing both on the same day). Rippletoe would probably kill me if he found out.
