The results of said research (retarded shitpost pictures that you wouldn't pay some xitter artist for anyway) is a result of that creativity and genius. Math, even the math side of comp sci, is incredibly creative. Just because an approach to a problem doesn't result in your generic r34 xitter slop, doesn't mean it's not creative, and in a way, art.
