This exercise does one of the three functions, it's completely useless and retarded. Just do a wide row, covers two of the three. You can also do a high pull, Athlean-X did a video about it.

Looks like itโ€™s part of it, even so it depends on how crowded your gym. My gated community gym has a sign that says not to use any piece of equipment for more than 30 minutes when itโ€™s busy but if empty at night you can run around in there if you want.

Roiders if anything have insane joint saving technique for lifting heavy since their joints are fucked and its usually half reps. But you can just do the part of rom lighter later for the same hypertrophy hypothetically, the caveat being their programming and diet is more based on getting the most out of heavy steroid cycles so for them bttw training while test is super high is best over managing long and short term fatigue and muscle/tendon wear.
