I dabble in music, I'm not exceptional, I just play piano and guitar sometimes for brain exercise. But there is frequency in everything, and after all the time I spent listening to and playing music, and spending time around musicians, it just seems like a corrupt medium.
Even if you take away the hippie spiritual crap, the lyrics are always ignorant and self destructive, the noise is always loud and repetitive, and the musicians that create this music are never worth emulating. For the sake of ethical consistency, nobody who advocates for health and well being should advocate for modern electronic music.

The alternative was becoming a drug addict or an alcoholic like all the rest of my friends who never grew out of their late teens and early twenties, and who all of them were obsessed with making "Music". None of them learned any practical skills, and now they are all unhealthy and trapped psychologically and physically. I wanted out of that mindset.
