Dont beat yourself up too hard, the majority of people in the western world have addictions to food. Junk food changes peoples brains so that they cant help themselves. The companies that shill selling junk food to kids share the blame as much as you do.

i know how to actually get lean, its a matter of sticking to the diet which is the easy, its easy for me to stick to the gym, lifting is enjoyable for me, i love lifting heavy, i love getting a pump, i love everything about the gym, it doesn't take any motivation or dedication for me to do it

but purposefully keeping myself in a calorie deficit is painful to the point where i just cannot stick to it long enough to get ripped

>Lean
It's kind of a meme to starve yourself just to have very defined abs. Just eat good and healthy, lift and control fat intake within reason

bro unironically just fast
if you've really trained for years perfectly and permabulked you'll look insanely good even losing some muscle whilst fasting
just don't eat 7 days, then refeed watermelon, liver, cod liver oil and yogurt
then repeat 7 days fasting
and do this until you reach the desired weight
after a month of training and refeeding you'll have built back all the muscle due to muscle memory and be lean as well, so dw
just starve for two months and you'll lose all the weight in the world
