No. I got to 3pl8 and I looked like shit and my pinkies starting going numb. I do the hammer strength incline press, flys and dips and my titties look better now

Not really. It's probably the major lift I'm weakest at, relatively.

No. It has fucked up my back more than any other exercise except deadlift. On the plus side it did once fix my back as I did a roll of shame with like 200lbs.

Used to do bench until I hit 100kg for reps, and I realized having 100kg bench compared to when I first started with the empty bar, there wasn't a major difference in basically anything at all. I wasn't faster, I wasn't more able or any stronger, I was basically a bit better at pushing a bar off my chest.
As opposed to the squats for example, back when I used the empty bar compared to now when I squat 160kg and zercher squat bodyweight for reps, or my sprints, or my 180kg deadlift, the difference in lower body / legs and overall athleticism, strength and endurance is monumental. Or when I struggled with 7kg curls and couldn't even do 1 pull-up, compared to now when I do pull-ups as a main lift and curl 25kg for high reps, it's a day and night difference in overall body composition, strength and power.
I know these aren't any huge numbers, but I want to say that when we talk about 1/2/3/4, the 2 isn't as important as the 1/3/4 when it comes to overall sheer bodily capability and ability. A 3 plate squat translates better into body capacity and function than the standard 2 plate bench, so reaching a 3 plate squat for reps will yield a far more capable human organism than a 2 plate bench for reps would. Or take it another way, bench training only makes you better at bench, while squat training makes you better and other athletic things as well.
I stopped doing bench altogether for almost 2 years now and my only real pushing movement is pike pushups, and sometimes I throw triceps exercises.

You should be benching at least 120kg before comparing it to squatting and deadlifting that much.

It makes you better at everything that you use your arms for. Same as squat for the legs. He thinks squats are the hot shit and bench is mediocre because he's good at squats and he benches mediocre.

when you push things in nature your hands are stretched out or pulled back and you walk against it, push with your legs or lean against it with your whole body

If your hands cant push decently you wont have enough mobility or stability to use the rest of your body as leverage

What about all the other things my chest, shoulders, and triceps might do? Do they not occur in the jungle or do said muscles magically dissapear when I'm not under a barbell?

I have become a "functional" lift autist. I strongly prefer lifts that use the entire body preferably in a unilateral fashion.

I always found it interesting that OHP made me significantly more winded than bench press, despite using significantly less weight.
