Teachers the whiniest most self-righteous profession I've ever had to deal with. They act like they're on the cross raising the youth of America. Meanwhile they're glorified babysitters who often are some of the most mediocre people you'll ever meet but get paid way better than most people. They get state benefits and have summers off, plus all holidays. It's not surprising the 3rd most common everyday millionaire by profession is teacher.

Complaining about "summer school" and "in-service days" is a sign of someone who have never worked a real job and isn't actually a teacher at a public school. Teacher's get WAAAYYY more time off than most professions.


Summer school is not mandatory to teach. You get your whole summer off. What teachers complain about is that they typically don't structure their paychecks / budget very well (because most teachers are stupid), so they wind up waiting tables or doing other stuff over the summers to make ends meet.

This I split a house witha teacher and got to know all her teacher friends... They whine about not getting paid for 3 months out of the year... But they still make ~$60k starting, they just get it disbursed over 9 months instead of 12. But like most idiots they live paycheck to paycheck so not getting a paycheck for 3 months wrecks their finances... They really are that fucking stupid.

This guy gets it. I dated a teacher for a while (well, more like fucked her). You realize pretty quickly why so many of them end up banging their students. They're usually the most mediocre people and end up never evolving beyond a junior high school mentality on anything. They act like they're saviors and they have it so rough because they have no experience working a real job. As in:

Teacher is a cushy, in demand job where very little is expected of you. They're just burned out because they don't have real world experience.

If I could do it all over again I wouldn't have been an SWE. I would have just been a dental hygienist or a plumber.

And this is the third world where college degrees used to make much more than blue collar, but nowadays they're getting much closer similar to developed countries, a bricklayer without addictions can make more than 90% of office cucks

For starters, I wasn't complaining. I'm 35 with no debt and over $150k invested making over $170k a year. 90% of that gets invested. I'll happily retire in my 40s with 1 million in the bank.I'm saying if just if I would have been a tradesmen, I would have gotten there a lot faster due to earlier working age and no debt.
