I consider them to be foundational lifts. It depends on who you ask, but I'd say most lifters who are "about it" can see the importance of a squat and hinge pattern.

Nothing, google is just getting worse and worse. Reverse image only returns ads for things you can buy on the pic. Anything else is a "violation of content guidelines" (we cant sell anything with this search).

I'd say deadlift more than squat. If you're going for strength you should be doing both. If going for aesthetics, you're probably okay dropping squat in favor of a more targeted and controlled leg exercise. Deadlifting while going for aesthetics is mainly about preserving strength and the hormone dump from taxing so many big muscle groups

If you want to be athletic then yes. If you don't care about mobility and stuff there's easier ways to put heavy weight on the same muscles and grow them.
