Why do fatsos, and people in general, think that a diet is something miserable? Like eating nothing but lettuce all day long? I've noticed, that in general populace's conscious, diet is associated with illness and medical treatment. Something that's temporary rather than long-time eating habits.

Because their idea of eating normal means intuitive eating, ignoring the fact that their intuition (which is based on successful evolutionary traits) makes them want to eat as much salty and fatty shit as possible

It's so hard. With family, the influence of food, its social bonding element, the ease of eating something unmacro friendly, laziness and all those other things.
I used to be a pretty fit 175 before meeting my wife, I am now 220.
Should I kill myself already? Is there no hope for me?

>Why do fatsos, and people in general, think that a diet is something miserable?

As we can see from the GLP1 drugs, fatsos are way, way hungrier than naturally thin people. The moment you counter their hunger with a drug, they become thin.

Imagine being hungry all the time. All the time. Even when you've just eaten. That's why fatsos are fat. And that's why when they try to lose weight without drugs, they're miserable.

Fat people are disconnected from nature and normal foods. Most of them were raised that way and have conception of what it means to eat normally. Their lives are spent eating modern foods, being hungry all the time, having all their hormones disrupted, and feeling like they are suffering if they don't have modern foods.

Modern foods disrupt hormones such that the body cannot regulate its weight via hunger. Fat people aren't just innately or genetically hungrier, it's caused by the foods they eat evidenced by the fact that this is a recent phenomenon.
If you locked these people in a house with only meat and eggs their hunger would go back to normal, like for most of their ancestors.

Trained habits to overeat constantly for years on end. Fatties who lose weight and keep it off generally don't feel like they're suffering after they adapt to their new diet.

I went from 105kg to 83kg . Still need to lose 10-15kg more. (Im 5'10) but i look back at how i ate when i was heavier and think fucking hell. I used food as a crutch once my mental health/living situation improved it was much easier to lose weight . But yeah ur appetite adjusts it does take a while though :3
