So I looked up depression and saw one of the things they recommended was getting healthier, so since I had nothing else going on in my life I changed up my diet, stated eating whole foods, lean meats, vegetables, ect. Started going for walks around the neighborhood, my dog loved that. Started working out, bought a weight bench and some dumbells. Then once I started making progress I bought a scale and started weighing myself. Came here joined the fatty contest, and well that's been my thing for the last couple months. Not sure what I'll do once the weight is finally gone. I'm getting close to a healthy weight, but Ive still got a long way to go before abs or anything like that.
Should probably see a doctor at some point too, haven't had a check up since I was a teen. I'm feeling less depressed but it didn't completely go away at any point. Still cant enjoy the things I used to despite attempts to get back into them. Part of me wishes I could just unflip that switch and go back to normal, or at least normal for me, but I do kinda like being leaner and being healthier does feel a lot better. Doesn't hurt to get out of bed anymore, I can run and jump, that kind of thing.
