The real fool’s errand is thinning you can escape skinny fat mode in a single bulk/cut cycle. You’ll have to do at least 2 bulk and cut phases. Doesn’t matter which one you start with. If you do a single cut follow by a single bulk you’ll just get fat. If you do a single bulk followed by a single cut you won’t have enough muscle to cut into anything significant
