>decades of taking bumps resulting in countless surgeries
>roided, did drugs, drank alcohol
>died only 4 years before the average life expectancy for an american male

I'm begining to think the whole "drugs are bad m'kay" thing is a work.

People with superior genetics can handle drugs, alcohol, and roids better.

Yeah, but look at Arnold's generation. Most of the Golden Age guys are still alive. I did the math one time, the average life expectancy of the dead GA bodybuilders was around 73. Since most are still alive, the actual average is higher.

how much spent on surgeries that where necessary to keep him alive? (surgeries that non-rich people could not afford?)

Even recently most people outside of retardedly big mass monsters are doing good. Ronnie coleman is an exception but that's because he trained through injuries and surgeries like a retard. Jay cutler, phil heath, etc are all doing good. Steroids just aren't all that dangerous except at the top level and even then it's not crazy. Hulk hogan probably never took 1/10th the amount the average mr olympia uses.

They weren't going through the sheer physical rigor/injuries that the pro wrestlers were, nor were they slamming coke and painkillers like the pro wrestlers were.

Most of his surgeries were just failed attempts to fix his back after years of using picrel as a finish when rings didn't have near as much give as they do now. I'm fairly certain he had stuff done to his knees as well.

Feel bad for Nash. It’s been a rough couple of years for him. Lost his son, Scott, and now Hogan.

It hasn’t been as bad as the early 90s but still.

He had top 1% genes.
He would have died at 100 if wasnt such a drug abuser.
