This shit is driving me fucking insane what the fuck.
I have had pain for months and PT isn't doing shit about fuck all.
Anyone have any magic cures before I rope? I asked my doc about a cortisone shot but who knows if that'll help beyond a week.

months is nothing lol, try years or lifetime. your time is just up lil bro, it happens.
i used to play baseball/tennis, bench like a mf and nowadays im just basedcuck science based lifting enjoyer.
my hypertrophy routine is lifting baby weights till failure, no shoulder pain. i have stopped doing bench press completely.

With physical therapy, stretching and mobility training you can get rid of it. I've done so.

I think I impinged my shoulder in the front a bit a while back. What helped me a lot was that stretch where you hold a bar or broom handle or whatever overhand grip and bring it from the front of your hips overhead and back to your buttocks. Stretches the hell out of your front shoulder. Don't know if your issue is in a different spot though. Dead hangs might help as well.
Other than getting more flexible and trying to create space in the shoulder, I just spent months putting up with gentle, light exercises to get blood in the shoulder and help it build resilience.
Good luck anon

Yeah, rest and do nothing. Once you can move your shoulder again, get in a door frame, bend your elbow 90°, place yourself right next to the frame, make your hand face up and push your hand in the frame in a lateral outward motion, making your shoulder "open", maintain that pressure, release and then do it again.

Visit a sport physio dumbdumb, not a regular one made for fat people or people who got into car crashes.

Collagen type whatever, vitamins salt etc and bulking while blood in the muscle stuff once its past sharp pain.

Maybe pull on it like a deadhang and work the motion while lightly pressing on it and stretching, do circles and tense it and shit. I recover from at least sharp pain really easily and consistently.

And theres also benefit to trying to realign the tendons and shit with say deadhangs or one handing an oly ring, pushing against stuff or just tensing and flexing.

But legit i guess ill do a video call if you have over 100 dollars.

Isometrics and negatives. 70-80% of your 1rpm and take 30 s
Cuban press, facepulls, rotator cuff exercises.
Make sure you get enough vitamin c for your body to produce collagen
It will take months to heal but it can be completly fixed and strengthened

And it depends on the severity and feels like indid damage vs a strain, i have super fucked up shoulders right now because i lifted pretty hard for a week and i should be able to do this while doing arms and still doing some med intensity hypertrophy chest back etc and itll be practically good in probably less than a week.

Does eating dietary collagen not build collagen? Or synthesized as if protein?

Yeah im developing arthritis probably lifting through injuries but months applies to a tear, it builds up too but i legit strain my shoulders all the time and they get more resilient with enough rest.

No. It gets broken down into the amino acids and vitamin is required to build collagen. Most collagen supplements come with some vitamin c. You may need another vitamin c supplement to ensure you get enough. Or eat fruits

Hm i already do try to keep veggies fruits etc high but not super strict, i would assume its better to time as if protein in that after signalling for growth/repair just a ton of soup and vegetables, over just having more weekly intake like fat/vitamins.
