you don't have kids by any chance?

my strength dropped after every of my kids was born
even though I was working out the same / more during paternity leave

then it rebounded like 1-2y later
and I got stronger after 3-4y
like stronger than in my mid 20s

there's some research that suggests
>your test drops after your kids are born
>increases when kids get older
something about not having to attract a partner and protecting the mother (evolutionary)

Evo psych is such a joke. The reason peoples “test drops” when children are born is simply because they were more stressed taking care of children. It gets back when the children get older because it’s less work to take care of them than before, so you’re not as stressed.

Evopsych fags love to justify “we wuz polygamous cavemanz like my afreeka niggerz” all the time with bullshit research.

>The reason peoples “test drops” when children are born is simply because they were more stressed taking care of children
only
only that I wasn't stressed at all
maybe the first 1 month
but my paternity leave was 6months each
and my strength rebounded only after 1-2y

your whole "muh evolutionary psych is fake" is retarded anyway

I think evolutionary pschology is obviously real but I also think other anon is correct that the test drops associated with having a child are from

>no more sex
>not sleeping enough
>stress
>wife increasing her nagging
>etc

I cant even buy any theory that would say its evolutionary advantageous for you to lose test when you have a small child around anyway.

>get jacked as a 35 year old
really depends on your genetics
importantly regeneration gets slower, which severely lowers your ceiling

also test naturally drops with age
you can check that and if needed moderately supplement, which technically would be roiding though

if you never been /fit/ before
the hardest part will be to eat clean and get into a lifting routine
and not just cheat every other time
gaining muscle should still be reasonably easy

>theory is that it's so men don't cheat and will stay around to care for their kids
that's not a theory
but a measurable statistic
which shows a significant correlation between low test and less cheating, divorcing or leaving kids to a single mom

lower test after child birth is also a significant measurable stat
which is pretty much proven to be causal

the only thing is question is the source of the facultative neuroendocrine response in new fathers that causes the drop

stress does not seem to be the main reason
and especially not the bs stuff listed by >>76421573

>I cant even buy any theory that would say its evolutionary advantageous for you to lose test when you have a small child around anyway.
The whole point of the exercise is for the child to survive and thrive, which means that the male needs to start giving up resources, needs to not see the child as competition, needs to be fucking around less and doing less stupid shit and needs to not get their family dragged into fights with males who have no kids to lose. I'd say it's fairly obvious to anyone who's cared for a small child why you don't want them in a high-test environment.
