I swear it was more fun when people just lifted heavy weights and had lives outside of the gym. Now its just obsessive optimization and looking for excuses to not go outside. Who know, maybe things are changing

Last time I was a regular /fit/ poster I just remember the board had a gay obsession with bullying tinytrip. And it was otherwise almost exactly the same except there were more posters

Agreed. Science-based lifters and their autistic followings have officially replaced intuition-based lifters like Rich Piana, and the culture has, consequently, shifted toward sterile number-crunching and optimization. That's not fun at all.
