Can I trust chatgpt with advice on dieting, stretching and my lifting routine?

only if you tell it to treat you like a moron and to give you the safest, most common sense advice possible

it's unironically probably better than getting your advice from here

probably better than hiring some jackass personal trainer
it has a tendency to load up the volume though, the more info you give it the more you get back
tell it everything and it should come up with something half decent, you can always get it to change shit if you don't like something
the best program is the one you enjoy the most, that means finding lifts you connect with and that excite you to do and sticking with those, overloading them over time

It's been treating me good.
Lifting is not that complex and is largely a solved game.
ChatGPT just gets the good data.
Like the other anon said, the more specific data you give it, the more specific routines it can give you

Works for me
Not a good idea to use it without some prior basic knowledge though, because ChatGPT is pretty much a Yes Man
It will always try to find a way to agree with you and give you a positive answer, which can lead it to give terrible advice sometimes
But if you know what are you doing, and you're using it primarily to collect and organize your thoughts, then ChatGPT pretty much obsoletes all personal trainers and nutritionists

A trick I found is to have it ask what people on other sites said so

i find that asking for deeper knowledge is less reliable. it's hard to know where the good advice ends and the convincing bullshit starts.

stretching and lifting yes, diet as a science has so much false info out there I wouldn't trust it.

Yes but you need to accept the fact that Chat GPT and any and all AI programs are designed to lie to you if your questions and their answers dont align with what is convenient.

Chatgpt is my gym bro along with my sans tulpa, unironically good to get not ultra specific advice or to get a kind off accurate calculation of the calories you are eating

Just eat less, move more and lift 2-3 a week full body. It's not that hard. Just fucking do it.

I think it's actually pretty good for macro estimation.
You spend like 20 seconds recounting your goyslop for the day and you get a reasonable summary.

In terms of dieting, counting calories and things like that it has been on point for me. In terms of exercise programming, not so much.

It just gets the information from the first page of google results and tries to put it together for you so you kind of save time not having to go thru it yourself, but there can also be misinterpretations in the process so.
