Judo weight classes usually have a 10kg range (73-81 kg, 81-90, 90-100...), but the heavyweight class has no upper limit. It's 100kg and above. Teddy Rinner weighs 145 kg, so that's a massive 45 kg difference with the lightest fighters in the class. Rinner can literally just grab them and throw them with no technique.
The problem isn't judo but Olympics weight classes. In a normal world, the heavyweight class should have an upper limit. And Rinner should either make the cut or fight against guys his weight.
