Neural adaptations do not need a calorie surpluss. They will run out eventually. How long have you been training or how long has this been occurring?

if you've been training for 3 years then you should expect your size gains to be close to nonexistent assuming you spent 3 years well
like 90% of your gains will occur in the first few years of lifting
then you either have to accept that it will take forever to put on another kilo of muscle or hop on gear

I don't feel the burn people often mention when they lift, that's the main problem I've been investigating for years now, I even tried a routine focused on mind-muscle connection to trigger burn and sensations in general but apart from feeling that the load is "heavy" and the set "difficult", I don't feel much on my muscles

My left bicep is significantly smaller than my right yet so much stronger. Help.

I even started doing strength sets on my right just to let the left catch up in size.

Bro at least gain more weight until you start cutting. You seem like a beginner, you are getting jacked by just pumping iron and eating whatever you want. Leave cutting for after you get a decent chunk of fat and muscle

Muscle is the primary driver of strength so no it is impossible to get stronger without building muscle

>gaining size but not strength

Iโ€™ve been benching the same amount for months and any added weight means I canโ€™t get another rep in

Why am I not getting stronger doing a bench two times a week for 3 months

You can make drastic strength gains in a short period of time, especially the less seasoned you are. You can only gain muscle so quickly if you're not enhanced

10* 12 *5 = 600

If only we could all improve bench for 10lbs per month.

Weights are not ideal for sacroplasmic growth, what you noobs call "hypertrophy." There's sacroplasmic and myofibrillar hypertrophy. Heavy weights will add and strengthen myofibrils, endurance will stretch sacroplasms to store more glycogen. If you wanna look like a bloated douche, focus your weight routine on strength and for each strength day, do a separate athletic workout day. If you've never been involved in any sports or martial arts, I guess it's closest to crossfit but not with heavy weights. I only do bodyweight on endurance days. But yes pushups are gonna give you more of the stupid looking bloat you desire than bench press. That's the pump brah, flex that inflammation.

>started literally from zero. Assisted hand raise, 8 reps, new personal record.
>fast forward a two years of physio and hitting the gym on my own.
>hypertrophy range (8-12) for fucking everything when my PT isn't monitoring me
>be the only fucking persons in a busy clinic who is actually going home and doing shit outside of the athletes trying to re-enter their sport.
>high volume, weight and sets
>out lifting all the natties and most the causal juicers
>With the fat loss, I lose more size than I gained.
>The fucking stares when people see me grab the heavy dumbbell. I need to start making anatoly videos.

I want to be fucking bigger. If it wouldn't fuck with my lifts I would gain the fat back. I lost 3 inches off my chest in a year. I assume my physio exercises then genetics have rolled my fate, because I don't know what else to fucking do.
