Is junk food withdrawal a thing? I'm trying to fix my diet and I'm getting angry at the smallest things, which is unlike me. The removal of junk food is the only change I've made.
>>76462185 (OP)>which is unlike meIts exactly like you. Dont ever try to convince people who you are. At least you are self aware and can decide to act on this discovery.
>>76462185 (OP)Yes food withdrawal is a thing. If you're used to eating shitty food your body craves the slop. It's why fatties can eat 2lbs of green vegetables and still "feel hungry" - they're not hungry they're just craving their addiction.
>>76462185 (OP)I used to eat mcdonalds probably once a week. I love this shit. But ever since I started lifting I just stopped going and I don't really miss it.
I love gains more.
All I know is the very rare time I eat it after dropping it years ago I tend to feel very sick afterward.
So its not surprising this poison would have a withdrawal effect.
>>76462185 (OP)I cook my own meals from scratch and eat clean - avoiding processed foods and using only raw ingredients. On the rare occasions when I treat myself to fast food like McDonald's or Burger King, I end up feeling extremely nauseous and fatigued."
When I crave fast food I go and get some KFC chicken fillet pieces at least I get the protein to go with the oils
>>76463992This. I got so ridiculously sick of feeling like shit that I refuse to eat anywhere but home, or at least home cooked food. Goodbye, promotion. I don't care.
>>76462185 (OP)I'm addicted to bread. I can cut out EVERYTHING but bread. I dont know what to do. Substitutions didnt help, the keto options eventually get too pricey. I'm never gonna make it.
>>76464259would transitioning into eating tortillas help? the carb balance tortillas especially have amazing macros
Now that I eat clean it’s almost unbelievable how shitty junk food will make me feel on the occasional indulgence. It makes me wonder how i could do it before; was I just used to feeling subpar or did i become desensitized to shit food to the point that I could tolerate it?
I almost envy people who can eat half a pizza and it’s just a normal day for them. I’d be on the toilet all night. Anyone else experience this?
>>76462195you’re not usually this assertive, anon
>>76464259You can make your own keto bread for pennies on the dollar of goyslop bread with sugar added because fuck you bread needs sugar apparently
>>76464589yep, you gradually get desensitized to the shitty emulsifiers and preservatives and massive amounts of carbs/sugars.
>>76462195Anon, I love it when you're this assertive.
Come home and fuck my wife whilst I watch, please?
>>76464259What kind of bread? If you're just eating sourdough I think you're fine. If you're eating sugar filled pastries from the bakery then quit.
>>76462185 (OP)Power through anon, I'm at a healthy weight but have decided to cut out junk food because I realize I'm an addict and I feel so much better mentally since cutting it out. It'll be a rough 2-4 weeks but it'll be worth it.
I can still eat McDonalds, but I just stick to mcdoubles and chicken nuggets these days. love the fries but they just make me feel super full and crash.
if I eat more then like 1/4th of the recommended serving for a dessert I end up feeling sick.
pom juice is proven to fight addictions.
Yes, this happened to me. But it stopped after a few days.
>>76462185 (OP)>The pressures of economic serfdom are weighing heavier on me every day and I don't understand why I am growing in anger and resentment My brother in Christ you need to go lift some heavy shit
