SS fitness program
I always saw the SAS, Navy Seal, Delta, ROSU, GIGN training programs and videos. And then I remembered that German SS during world war 2 were basically the special ops of modern day time and they where the best mentally, with weapons and physically.
And it interested me, what type of training did they do, but I couldn't find any material about it.

>Do you guys know what type of training did they do?

You can't find any because there is none. They were just a militant wing of the early Nazi party made up of dudes who fought during WW1, and once the party controlled the government they were much more concerned with maintaining their own personal political/social power within the party. If you actually want to larp, then your best bet is to find German training manuals from prior to WW1.

Focus on the big five, do three sets with five reps, train three times a week, try to progress linearly as long as possible, drink your milk.

>they were special forces
They were not. Apart from a few Divisions, their training would have been identical to that of their equivalent in the rest of the German forces. If you were in an SS Signals platoon you were going to be a Signaller in much the same way as if you were in the Heer

Where it changed were the anti partisan and security troops but they would have been typically less fit and poorly led compared to the rest of the Waffen SS or German army

i remember the fitness guide project a few years back and it was disappointing

the SS was just the paramilitary wing of the nazi party. generally speaking the waffen-ss had equivalent or slightly better training to wehrmacht soldiers. most of the German military divisions famous for their prowess were in the luftwaffe or wehrmacht but there were a few famous waffen-ss divisions. i could pretty much guarantee the selection process and training for navy seals is better than what germany was doing in ww2

The Waffen SS was well trained and focused on the latest tactical training (instead of the traditional marching and foot drills) and selected to high morale. That was the essence of the high combat capacity - they were "regular" (meaning obv completely new, cutting edge motorized/mechanized warfare) and not special forces.

Special forces were a political stopgap first (from the british then others) which turned out to be a cost-effective harrassing and sometimes operational/strategic level combat capability. Special forces were light infantry infiltrating through amphibious, airborne or clandestine operations and operated behind enemy lines, which demanded somewhat more physically from the individual - but even their training was in its infancy (cutting edge novelty on the tactical, operational and strategic level -just like operational maneuver warfare). Training developed immensely after the war during the cold war (in peace there is more opportunity - time - to experiment, gather data, do research and eventually come up with new, better methods).

Just like military technology and equipment training is far better nowadays in every country at any level than during WW2. (This does not mean that an elite ww2 formation couldn!t beat some of the low tier contestants from our time but the difference in average and median is significant.)
