TLDR: give a woman a chance instead of asking her for a chance.
There is always this pressure to men which men ask for a permission and women give men a chance. Which is true but if you mold yourself into this thinking structure you'll only make things difficult.
Why are women seem so relaxed, confident in interaction?
Because women are the ones who give a chance to other people to interact with.
Think it in this way.
>Be me walking down the street
>Some counter passenger (whether a man or a woman or an alien) wondering around with google map on the phone
>You casually give that person a chance
>Can i help you sir?
Same situation but when you put yourself in the shoes of passive permission asker
>You think before an action
>Should i help him? Can i bother that person? Shouldn't i get a certain queue that he need a help before i act?
