1 week off of the gym
I've just taken about 7 days off of the gym
How much strength and muscle have I lost?

Muscle probably like 6 grams hard to even quantify strength maybe 8%.

>How much strength and muscle have I lost?
typically muscle loss starts at around the week mark, so you might got lucky
but depends on what you do otherwise

>laying in bed (like hospital) for 7 days straight
you definitely lost some muscle
probably somewhere in the low single digit %

>being normally active, like 10k steps and light lifting stuff around the house
muscle loss will be <1%
if you're less active, you can lose up to 1-2% per week

but again, muscle loss starts at around a week
that varies from person to person
so you might have lost nothing at all

Muscle loss does NOT start after 7 days.
You are categorically retarded.

yes it does retard

muscle mass lost after a single week

Probably none in fact you may gain some due to the recovery. All these people are non-lifting dyels talking shit. The only time you should concern yourself if it's longer than one month or you're not eating at all for 7 days

Muscle loss happens after two weeks of inactivity. This is well documented

if you're going into the jewish dark arts then realize that there are hundreds of papers going against this. Unless you're bedridden, muscle loss isn't a concern for 2-3 weeks.

Ooof, say goodbye to your gains.

eh no there are not

>Unless you're bedridden, muscle loss isn't a concern for 2-3 weeks.
that's exactly what I wrote
muscle loss of <2% isn't a concern, even if it is statistical significant

None. If anything you gained strength. Take another week off and you'll get even stronger.

I was in the ICU for two weeks and fed through a tube for a week of it. Loss approximately 15 lbs. It took me approximately 90 days to recover, and still not fully. Granted once I got my weight back to almost normal my strength is returning.

Just make sure you are eating and drinking enough to maintain a healthy weight and your strength shouldn't get too out of control. Muscle gas memory, they say.

If you ate and slept properly during those 7 days, and didn't go on an alcohol/meth/heroin binge, you won't have lost much at all.

>uh.. Mr. Metzer, i want to be stronger than you, what should I do?
>don't go to the gym lil' homie... take another rest day

There's a big difference between being a vegetable for two weeks and not hitting the gym for two weeks. Normal people still use their body in their daily life

1 week off will lose you nothing unless you literally stayed in bed for each hour of that week, it usually takes 2-3 weeks to start losing
