I am 32 years old and I don't know how to do laundry. My mom did it for me and then gf did it and then when she broke up with me my mom started doing it again

I bought 4 identical shorts/shirts to wear to the gym to match my weekly laundry.
autistic I know but it's not uncommon to see people who only have ~4-7 of each half of an outfit which is only 49 combinations. That's ~1.5 months of outfits, before you take user preferences for "matches." It's more likely they have ~20 combos they'll wear. You're likely to see other regulars in the same thing a lot. I don't know why you'd care though.

I am the only person in my gym who does not wear GYMSHARK. I do not know if this is a UK thing only. Also everyone has the same backpack and they all drink energy drinks and sip them slowly between every set. Every so often someone spills one and a massive cleanup operation occurs.
Maybe I am getting old but I do not understand why you want to carry a can around and not put your bag in a locker. I am sure it is the kids who are wrong and not me.

I have one good workout shirt that doesn't get soaked in sweat and I wash it after every workout

Shorts only need to be washed every 3-4 uses

Barely anyone in my current gym or the last gym i went to before I moved wore gymshark
>t. greater manchester and liverpool
The energy drink thing is true but this only really applies to the zoomers i see in my gym. For some reason they ALL do fucking isolation exercises like wrists and neck as if it's going to help them when their frame is tiny as shit and they barely have any muscle currently too,
You can tell a lot of them get their info from TikTok and shit because I see the same things on there. There is one kid who unironically does the "schizo reps" thing too

It just looks that way. I have a bunch of same tees and shorts and I swap and wash them regularly. It just appears that I have the exact same ones all the time

Have you seen how many buttons and knobs are on a washing machine? It looks more like a time machine than a device that just spins clothes around in water.

There's one guy who comes in at opening time every weekday, wearing the same clothes. I'm pretty sure he washes them every day because he always looks wet and smells like laundry detergent lol. Like, does he wash them overnight and just put them on without drying or what?

For years I wore the Army PT uniform to the gym because I was on base and thats what you wore to the base gym.
When I got out I got a ton of shit for buying four pair of shirts and shorts that are identical.

I've washed synthetic clothes in the shower and put them on wet.

I have 6 pairs of the same shorts and about 20 plain black tank tops. It's been my go-to outfit to wear to the gym or outside when I'm doing yard work for like the past 15 years.

Just use the same setting for everything
Use low temperature unless your shit is really dirty, to save up money in the bills and use half the amount of soap the box says, to avoid getting your clothes drenched in microplastics. If you see foam in the machine while it's washing it means you're using too much soap and you're wasting it. You know you're using the right amount when you're not seeing foam.

t. my dad builds those fuckers.

My wife washes my gym clothes almost every day so I tend to wear the same two outfits to the gym sometimes repeatedly. So yeah I come to the gym in the same clothes I wore the day before sometimes for many consecutive days. I have a gym shirt thats easily 40 years old and it is in tatters. I dont give a fuck and keep wearing it.
