One morning drunk as fuck in central booking i swear i had pancakes with syrup.

In work release it was a lot of green bologna and white bread rolls. Not filling. We had vending machines with mostly sloppa much like a normal prisoner might get in commissary.

This is where i started taking pb&j and dunking it in my yogurt. Highly recommend.

i was literally the only /fit/ person there (except staff)

prison food (in my country) is pretty standard canteen stuff
similar to what I've had in university
macros are kinda shit and no choice
but you can eat as much as you want at any of the 3 meals

psych ward was better
could chose between dishes and request stuff, like 1kg of hazelnuts or unlimited cooked eggs with mustard

During dinner they were giving everybody a portion of dinner, then after 10 minutes they asked who wants more and only a few people wanted, including me. I always took the extra dinner.
Also I bought some sweets, processed food, from the shop. I ate it every day for extra calories.
Really good bulk in mental hospital. 3000 calories per day. Recommended.

those are rarely the /fit/ types
even the ones in for something violence related are way less fit than you might think, often even fat
and psych ward is again a complete different demographic

I did this too except for the gay calistenics part. The food was pretty normal, chicken, meat, potatoes, fish, veggies, all specifically chosen and cooked in a way even the most retarded fatty could find it tasty so no one did a scene. The amounts were ok, not too much, not too little. My guess is when you spent some time in a strict diet of drugs and tap water, its easy as fuck to get healthier on that food. When i entered the hospital i was in a ghoulish skeleton zombie form to the point my mom cried every time she saw me. After i left it, my mom commented she was happy to see me "well fed" again.

i did a remote master degree
there was also a wood workshop
basically unlimited books (e-readers with public library access), a TV and regular courses on practical skills / stuff, lots of board games and of course other sports
and psych ward had half a day of mandatory stuff

I was in jail not prison but kinda widh i was in prison for the same amount of time so i could have gotten into a fight since one of the dumb inbreds totally would have tried to start something with me. The only problem is defending myself in court when some also dumb inbred tries crucifying my ass for a jumping switch kick to cletus' neck for "simply trying to come near me and my cell teying to be friends."

The food at my insane asylum was 5 stars, for breakfast it was like eggs, sausage, prepackaged cereal of your choice, milk, juice all good as fuck, the lunch and dinner was like chicken fajitas etc all good as fuck, then snack time was shit like Chips Ahoy ice-cream sandwiches. Could only do push ups. Couldn't find a place to do rows or pull ups without getting in trouble. All the books sucked. The TV was good they had HBO etc watched Beetlejuice, could watch rated R movies. A total waste of time.
