Is running the best form of cardio? If not, what is?
Anonymous No.76639326 [Report] >>76639548
depends on what you want. zone 2 running for base sure. any type of HIIT, interval training, or even like crossfit circuits are best for VO2. that's all cardio is, aerobic base + VO2

The best form of cardio is the one you enjoy doing and actually can and will do

Yes, because throwing weighs around will make you able to run for extended periods of time.

Swimming is objectively the best and also most injury-free. But for most people it's hard to practice it regularly, so they have to cope with running (or cycling, which is at least better for your knees).

Walking is superior. For more HIIT style workouts, pounding out our moms fat ass is probably best.

Quite literally.

I'd probably say yes. When it comes to heart rates and calories burned you can more readily feel what 80% maxhr is vs what 70% is. Your expenditure really feels in line with your effort too. It's not great for sustainability through since it usually requires more recovery than other forms of cardio. But you get two forms in the mix and you're pretty much set to go. I can't really do 4x4 vo2 max training with anything besides running because getting and holding my hr up there is either too hard or it slips below that range too easily.

Probably rowing machine or swimming. More muscles are used.

This is the most pathetic cope from weaks.
Because a few 400 lb superheavweights can't move they pretend everyone who lifts weights is like that.
Bullshit. Any healthy young man who lifts can easily run a few miles by default, without training.
Cardio is so pathetically easy it's ridiculous. It only gets hard when you get into competitive territory. But getting basically healthy and functional and all that is literally nothing, no effort at all. It's nothing at all to brag about, that's for sure.
