Uncanny valley is a phycological phenomenon that almost all humans have regardless of race, status or other factors.
It is characterized by a feeling of uncertainty, dread and even fear to things that appear human but aren't actually.
It was first described in the 60s when a japanese engineer made machinery with human like faces with the intention of making the machinery look more harmless and friendly but they quickly discovered that both workers and passerbys were unnerved by it and they made a study asking people to be in a room with a normal construction machine and a machine by the engineer, they all reported that they felt that the human like machines would harm them while being completely fine with the normal machines.
Since then this same phenomenon has been reported all over the world with multiple sources like porcelain dolls, mannequins and with the internet it become a meme and creepypasta.
A recent theory explains that the origin of our fear of things that look human but aren't comes from the time humans and neanderthals coexisted, neanderthals being as smart as humans but stronger and faster and some paleontologist believe that they might have also been night hunters, could have been an extremely vicious enemy to early humans, making the feel of dread to something that looks human but isn't, a necessary mechanism for survival that become deeply engrained in human dna.
Around neanderthals, never relax.
