also the conclusion says that increased protein resulted in slight increase of lean body mass? it doesn’t say that protein increase had no statistically significant effect on LBM above the threshold the youtuber stated except if i missed something (i admittedly only skimmed through the study)

I think the paper doesn't seem to be drawing conclusions, suggests we need better studies and seems to be saying that benefits from extra protein are marginal in terms of lean body mass and non-existent in terms of strength.

This is a hunch I've had. It's nice to see the science agrees with me.
Pushing your protein intake to more than maybe 120g is just unhealthy. Our digestive tracts just aren't designed to process all that protein.
Don't even get me started on protein powder. What a fucking scam that shit is, and all the HIGH PROTEIN slop products too. Just eat meat ffs, imagine falling for such a swindle.
Just eat a normal diet but eat more of it.

Thats ALL fair and fine. I would say the same thing, however your mistake was not taking into account my patrician taste for milk trucks. Therefore I am no Jew, I am however a Greg Nuckols stronger by science/strength theory homer. But even if I wasnt I still think the more protein the better. Sure there is diminishing returns but my mentality is if Im hungry and im gonna eat something, might as well be more protein rather than some other shit. Learn to cook and eating more isnt bland or boring. Anyway read the article and report back lad.
