I started back on nofap recently, and results have been excellent >Day 3: Eating at restaurant and get the waitress's number >Day 4: Go on date with her, and make out heaps in her car >Day 10: Fuck her.
Gotta say, it's working pretty well.

Have you ever considered the possibility your standards are not low enough to appreciate the women around you and that there is in fact nothing wrong with that?

hardcore porn addicts (who are additionally the most likely to succumb to their habit again) will need far more than 30 days to recover both mentally and physically (even if their streak is clean, meaning no edging and no doomscrolling softcore porn in social media).

I actually did but maybe you can't read. One week and you will feel the difference. Two weeks and you're fully recovered.
Or you mean "recovered" as "wont indulge in the habit ever again" but that's bullshit since time has nothing to do with that.

See, now (even though your statement was fallacious), you addressed it. In your previous statement, you did not address full recovery. You just said the difference was night and day, which is not anything he was talking about.

nofap is effective if you have a genuine porn addiction. same way the average person doesn't need total abstinence from alcoholic but an alcoholic does. if you are unable to use something in moderation then you must abstain from it. you need to have some self awareness about whether your usage is genuinely moderate and whether or not you would benefit from abstinence.

You could conclude, assuming a quite linear improvement, that a big change after just a week contradicts "far more than 30 days to recover", but you're a pedantic know-all and chose to add nothing of value
