Make sure the chicken is in a bag or if it comes vacuum packed that's fine too. Squeeze all the air out of the bag. Put the bag in a bowl, the bowl in the sink. Run cold water into the bowl on top of the chicken. Leave it running 15+ minutes. It will defrost. Make sure the water is COLD, not warm.

It doesn’t even need to be in a bag and you don’t even need to use cold water if you’re planning on cooking it right away and you don’t leave it in warm water for hours
