Finally, a dirt-cheap protein.
Why did no one tell me about this?

people here literally cum while screeching about "rice and beans" being good protein and shit all the time dude what do you mean

>good protein
what? At best, you will get 3g of protein from 100g. Absolutely terrible, also rice is 2-3 times less nutritious than beans.

He meant rice and beans work as a "complete" protein.

Almost none of it is bioavailable or has a completely amino acide profile
Literally everyone on /fit/ has failed biology big time, just because it reads "protein-fat-carbs" on two different products that the molecular profile is the same

Thank you, ChatGPT, but people don't eat just beans, so you can get those amino acids from other foods, hence you can actually exploit that 21g of protein.

You can get a lot more dirt cheap protein by buying nonfat milk and making it into greek yogurt.

Jewing yourself on food is the most retarded shit you subhumans do. Rice and beans are literal dogshit.

Food is fuel of the body if you put shit into it, you will feel like shit and become shit. Maybe stop spending so much money on stuff you don't need and actually start to take care of your body.

Also protein combining is a theory by some vegan loons. I repeat, it's a theory otherwise the average mexcrement would be jacked out of his brain. It's been only tested on cattle who can digest plants fully (we cannot)

What are you talking about? Your stomach mixes everything. 200g of bread, 300g of beans + 100G of chicken is all you need to complete the amino acid profile, that's 110g protein and ~950 calories. In Germany, that's no more than 2-3euros. dirt cheap.

Not at all.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5828430/

if you are taking protein shakes, then the amount of protein used is shit because it digests to fast. Protein Shakes =
If you were to eat 120g of protein from eating steak then you will get a longer lasting and overall better anabolic response as it will take many hours to fully break down and will keep your protein synthesis peaked for much longer.

>Quality of protein doesn't matter for muscle growth? Did you fucking hit your head today or something?
No, because contrary to your belief, your body, unless you’re on roids only, starts building significant muscle when it’s not forced to burn fat and muscle tissue for energy. That happens during a caloric surplus, and when it does, unless you consume almost no protein, your body will find a way to repair and build muscle. That's why virtually in every study, the difference between the 70kg guy taking 90g protein vs 140g is 2-5% in 12 weeks.
This is also why all powerlifters are fat, because caloric surplus is 10 times more important than protein consumption.

OH MY HECKIN MODERN SCIENCERINO.

Yeah, just eat your plant "protein" and stuff your stupid face with countless carbs because only caloric surplus matters. See how you feel in a few years.

The problem with beans is that you have to either shred them, overcook them, or chew them for 45 minutes per meal just to get as much benefit as you would by eating a raw egg.
Raw eggs have shit protein bioavailability in case you didn't know.

Modern science says that you should overdose on protein and do 52 sets per muscle in a week.
Which is pure stupidity. Anyone experienced in cutting without performance-enhancing drugs knows that whether you consume 1.4g or 2.2g of protein per kilogram of body weight makes zero difference in performance. You only start seeing real gains when you begin bulking; that’s just how the body works. Also, the problem with a very high-protein but low-carb diet is that your body becomes deficient in many vitamins and minerals, so you have to take supplements. Otherwise, even though it’s not inherently unhealthy, you’ll eventually start feeling terrible after years on such a diet. High-protein diet is a scam. 5% of gains isn't worth it to sacrifice your long-term health. Eat healthy, always
Anonymous No.76784443 [Report]

The biggest problem with bulking is that it's not about calories, so certain retards such as CICOtards get fat but gain no real muscle.

These are very hard to find in Australia. You can get kidney beans, black beans, and most other types of bean but no supermarket has them as regular stock. I've just used the last of a box of canned pintos I found in a local grocery's clearance bin a few months ago (this place buys pallets of assorted excess from importers, their stock is highly variable)

It's alright but the PDCAAS score in vegetable proteins tends to be shit, even if isolated because the proteins themselves tend to bind in beta-sheets making the work of pepsin and trypsin harder. Maybe add some cheese/eggs/chicken on the side to supply the demand of some aminos and let the beans fill the gap.
