The spectrum was populeat in the UK, Ireland Spain, portugal, Italy Russia, Poland, Finland etc. So was the commodore 64, Amiga, Atart ST Vic 20, Jupiter Ace, Ti994a, TRS80, Apple 2e acron BBC/Atom/Electron, Amstrad CPC, Atari 400,800.1200XL, dragon 32.64, Orac etc Similarly the 8088 286, 386, 486 amd k7 up to about intel gen 4, PDPs and AS400, HP UX, Solaris etc

These are all caucasian computers.

Konami did some cool shit with it even on the later models, Metal Gear 2 and Space Manbow both look and sound fantastic compared to any console at the time.

Space Manbow looked great, but its choppy scrolling and slowdowns showed that Konami was hitting the hardware's limits. Compare to something similar and available around the same time: R-Type on the TurboGrafx-16. It just ran much smoother.
