Anyone knows how to backup and restore a router firmware? I will be wiping my D-Link M30 to install openwrt but if something goes wrong I want a path back.
I managed to backup thr odm, ubi*, etc partitions using UART on serial but not sure if that would be enough since odm is supposed to have an encryption key for the firmware whose length they keep on changing.
Has anyone done a pure backup+restore before or can guide me with some steps/links to do it safely?
